Pick the lock to my fire box safe?
Hi everyone.
Do you have a lead to someone who knows how to pick the lock or break into my fire box safe? Apparently I've lost the key and I need those docs inside. It's a bummer. I've looked everywhere. Time for a specialist. Thanks!

A shameless plug for the Methow Recycles Tool Library, borrow an angle grinder and just cut your way in.

I open see a van with a locksmith logo on the side, driving around the valley. Maybe someone knows the name of the company.

Hi there - I was recently looking at my fire safe box to see what I would need to do if I lost my key. It depends on the brand, but sometimes there is a key number inscribed on the lock face. It'd be in really small letters around the semicircle of the lock. You could see if there is a key number and if you could contact the company with that. Good luck!

Thanks everyone! That was super helpful, both the ideas shared and the lead to Ben the Locksmith. It only took him a few seconds to unlock it and for a fair price. What a relief!

I learned that there is indeed a little code stamped on the firebox lock and key replacements are available online. Unfortunately from this manufacturer it takes 2 weeks and $30 to replace keys, which seems expensive and I needed to unlock the box sooner. There are many 3rd party sellers, eBay, etc, for only $8 and faster service, so I'll go with one of those. I hope this info helps someone here down the line!

Big shout out to Rrraceway. They have some pretty advanced tools and skills and are still reasonably priced.
