Cascadia Music Celebrates 40 Years with a “Picnic and Party in the Park”
Come celebrate 40 years of Cascadia Music building community in the Methow Valley by sharing the joys and power of music! Enjoy a full afternoon of folk, classical and jazz from Cascadia friends, teachers and ensembles, with a beer/wine garden and a BBQ in the grass and shade of the Twisp Park Bandshell, (originally built in the early 90s by volunteers from Cascadia Music) on July 25th, from 2 PM – 8 PM. The event is free and open to all ages; donations to Cascadia will be gratefully accepted.

Founded in 1986 by a small group of dedicated music lovers and teachers, to support music education and performance in the Methow Valley, Cascadia Music is celebrating forty years of creating welcoming spaces to learn, enjoy and perform the art of music! We invite you to join us in celebrating the vision and hard work of so many, who have brought us this far.

The Apostles (old time music) 2:40 - 3:25
Meadowlark (strings ensemble) 3:45 - 4:30
Roberto and Rebecca – (acapella duo, opera, classical and some surprises) 4:55 – 5:40
Cascadia Chorale (community chorus) – 6:00 – 6:20
Valley Tones Do Monk – (jazz) 6:45- 7:45

What to bring: A blanket, camp chairs (low is best but we want you to be comfortable), a picnic, (or cash/ Venmo/Cards to purchase one of our grilled brats or burgers), sun screen, hat, water, swim suits and towels for river dipping…
