About a week ago we found a beautiful Great Pyrenees lost dog. Despite our best efforts we have not been able to find his owner, and are now looking for a new home for him. If we are not able to find a good match, he will need to go to the Wenatchee Humane Society for rehoming. While we would love to keep him, our home is not suitable for his needs. He is affectionate and food motivated and seems like he would be easy to train, but his new owner will definitely need to spend some time training him. I think he needs lots of land/space and we are not sure if he's happier as an outdoor or indoor dog. So far he's been happy sleeping in our garage and on our smaller land, but has escaped the fence a few times looking to roam farther. He has been around a few other dogs and has been fine, and he has not had any issues with our chickens. We do not know if he is good with other animals. I think he has the potential to be a great family dog in the right situation, but will need some time and energy put into training.

Great Pyrenees dog needs home
Re: Great Pyrenees dog needs home
If this puppy is pure white and was found near Carlton he could belong to the Carlton Motel caretakers. They had a a white puppy who would be just over 1 yr old by now. I don't if theres is missing.

Thank you!
Sammy has already contacted them.
He is all white, but definitely older than 1 year.
I appreciate you letting us know!
