SEE YOU TUESDAY EVENING!

Methow Watershed Council Presents:
METHOW VALLEY PERCEPTIONS OF DROUGHT: COMMUNITY VIEWPOINTS

Tuesday May 12th at the Winthrop Library
Social: starts at 5:30 p.m.
Panel discussion: 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.

How does drought impact the livelihoods, operations, and business of our community?  What are the short- and longer-term challenges that we face as a community? Come hear directly from our panelists who shared their thoughts on drought in the Methow Watershed Council's 2025 Perceptions of Drought Interview Project.  Last year, we interviewed 21 people encompassing an array of viewpoints. We heard from irrigators, water suppliers, ranchers, fisheries and restoration specialists, recreation operators, and fire managers.  Each brought engaging perspectives and insights on managing water and living with drought. Come hear what they have to say and bring your questions! more info: methowwatershed.com.
