Arbor Day Celebration in Twisp

Help us celebrate Arbor Day in Twisp on Saturday (Apr. 18). At the Commons park next to the community center, 11:30 am. Trees to give away for a small donation, help us plant a tree in Twisp, and learn the proper way to plant a tree. We'll give a brief history of the Commons Park (it used to be a dilapidated tennis court) and give the latest updates on the Town of Twisp Tree Board's work, including the "Seed to Sapling" tree nursery project with students at the grade school. Come celebrate our love of trees. If you want to volunteer to help, call Dwight at 509-860-4478. And if you might be interested in joining the tree board, we are recruiting new members.
