Property removed from twisp park

I have had a teepee built for most of the fall and winter now to teach my kids about winter survival we would run drills with getting wet and how to warm up how to have proper ventilation for a fire in side of a teepee how to cook up a fresh catch my sons finishing poles where taken along with everything else that was just past the dike at the twisp park I was left dumbfounded because even the poles for teepee was taken along with a fire place that we had made..... It really upsets me that somebody really thought it was necessary to take everything down and not even leave a note or even a notice of where to go or a warning that kind of thing was not allowed it was not a homeless encampment it was just me trying to teach my kids how to survive in situations that could happen along the river at any time we have rebuilt this teepee twice both times was due to natural causes and not nothing was said when I built it this last time it was up for about a month and a half this time and nobody ever entered it of course there was a trail camera up out side of it to make sure no homeless was occupying it while we were away and nobody actually stayed in it other then my kids and I the last footage I have was the 4th of Feb b4 the camera died if u have any information on who or where I need to go to retrieve my property of the town of twisp has indeed taken it who would I contact for this

Again we did not stay over night was obeying park rules although it is not part of the park and there was never trash from us it was neatly built and I felt a pretty good idea for the kids being I live in town and can't show them these things at a apartment

First thought is check with the city. Your set up could easily be mistaken for the making of a homeless camp.

Will do thanks I just would have thought there would have been some kind of warning B4 hand I mean what do they do with the things that unclaimed that they pick up just play dibs on what they want I just find it really screwed up there could have have been a notice on the board there at the park or what the fish and wild life guys do leave your set up alone and just leave a notice on what ever rather a tree a bottle your tent or what ever like I just find the whole thing really unprofessional if it was infact the city . But also wasn't it just past that the sheriff's office or city can't remove a homeless encampment on public land as long as it doesn't look abandon again just good ol town of twisp doing what ever they like
