We will all die, but not many will arrive at their death bed having thought about that day. Methow At Home is partnering with Laura Yon, the Spiritual Care Coordinator with the Lookout Coalition to offer a 3-part series exploring our own mortality and how to prepare for our final days.
Now is the Time: Embracing Mortality through Living Mindfully
Together, we’ll create a supportive space to deepen awareness, reduce fear, and find greater peace and joy in the life we are living now as we explore our own dying process through self-reflection, mindfulness, and meditation.
This intimate program is limited to 12 participants to encourage meaningful conversation and sharing.
Drawing from her experience working in hospice and end-of-life care, Laura invites participants to discover how embracing death can ultimately free us to live more fully.
As Ram Dass reminds us, “Dying is perfectly safe.”
Three Sessions on Wednesdays- February 11, March 11, and April 15 held in Twisp.
REGISTRATION CLOSES FEBRUARY 3
You need to attend the first session to be eligible to attend the following sessions. The program is designed as three sessions that build upon each other, not three stand-alone classes.
Light refreshments provided
Suggested donation: $105 ($35 per session) to help cover program costs. We want everyone to feel welcome — please contribute what you can. No one will be turned away.
