The Methow Valley United Methodist Church invites folks from the community to join the conversation about resilience. The church is now running on solar power, with enough backup to stay open in a power outage for several days. We're looking at how we can leverage this and our facility to serve the community.
Hosted by ILC student Juli Robinson, these brainstorm sessions are part of her capstone project in envisioning how the church can serve as a resilience hub for the Valley, in collaboration with other organizations. Bring your ideas, insights, questions, and willingness to listen and share.
Tuesday, 12/9, 3:00 p.m.
Wednesday, 12/10, 10:00 a.m.
Both at the Methow Valley UMC, 193B Old Twisp Hwy.
