Sun Mountain Lodge is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and service-driven individual to join our Front Office Team as a Front Desk & Reservations Associate. This position features a split schedule supporting both the Front Desk and Reservations departments. The ideal candidate will enjoy a balance of guest-facing interactions and behind-the-scenes coordination—playing an essential role in delivering a seamless guest experience from the initial inquiry through check-out.

Job Overview

As a Front Desk & Reservations Associate, you’ll work collaboratively with both teams to ensure smooth communication, efficient operations, and exceptional service. This hybrid-style role requires adaptability, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to upholding the Lodge’s high standards of hospitality across departments.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism.

Complete guest check-ins and check-outs accurately, including billing and payment processing.

Provide knowledgeable information about lodge amenities, dining, spa services, and local activities.

Handle guest requests, concerns, and special accommodations promptly and courteously.

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk environment.

Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure timely service delivery.

Reservations Responsibilities:

Answer and respond to phone and email inquiries regarding availability, rates, and packages.

Accurately process new bookings, modifications, and cancellations.

Maintain detailed guest profiles and special request notes to ensure personalized service.

Communicate reservation details across departments to support operational readiness.

Contribute to revenue and occupancy goals through thoughtful upselling and accurate data management.

Assist in monitoring OTA and website bookings for accuracy as directed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous hospitality, reservations, or customer service experience preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.

Professional demeanor and positive attitude in all guest and team interactions.

Flexibility to work across both departments and adapt to changing schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Ability to stand for extended periods.
