FS: Roseville art pottery from early 1900's

Post by rkswanson » Fri Aug 15, 2025 10:58 am

We have 8 pieces of Roseville pottery purchased over a period of years. They have been in storage since we moved from Seattle 20 years ago. We are keeping a few smaller pieces but have no safe way to display them here and it is time to let go.

We have looked them up online and prices range widely across Etsy, eBay, AI etc. We are asking much lower prices than what we have found.

Call or text Rick at (509) 846-3207. Located 2 miles from Winthrop. We are having a big yard sale over Labor Day weekend but are reluctant to put these out for fear of breakage. Can send pictures if needed but best if you come by and look.

For those unfamiliar with this collectible line of pottery:
Roseville Pottery is a brand of art pottery that was produced by the Roseville Pottery Company in Ohio from 1890 until 1954. It's known for its diverse range of artistic designs and patterns, transitioning from utilitarian stoneware to high-quality art pottery lines like Rozane. The company is particularly famous for popular patterns like Sunflower, Pinecone and Blackberry.
In 1900, the company launched its first art pottery line, Rozane, marking a shift towards more decorative pieces. Roseville Pottery was primarily based in Zanesville, Ohio, from 1910 until its closure in 1954. The company ceased operations in 1954, but Roseville pottery has seen revivals in popularity, particularly in the 1970s and again in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
