Keep Public Lands in Public Hands Postcard Writing Event at the Confluence Gallery
Our public lands are currently at risk of being sold off as part of a massive spending bill that includes 3 million acres of public land across the West. If this bill passes, it would directly affect the land that we ski, bike, hike and recreate in the Methow, North Central Washington, and beyond. So it is time to use our voices and speak up against this bill by writing postcards to our senators to let them know that our public lands are not for sale. Join us at The Confluence: Art in Twisp on Tuesday June 24th 5-7pm; writing prompts and materials will be provided. This event coincides with the show ReCreation and is sponsored by Alpenglow Supply Co. and Arrowleaf Studio. Hosted by The Confluence: Art in Twisp.
