• Superior Court Judge Grim has announced that he’s resigning his position. Anyone interested in applying for the opening position should contact to the Governor’s office. Commissioner Timm gives details of the application process.
• Commissioners Neal and Timm discuss problems with government these days. They both wish more elected officials had experience in running a business.
• Josh Tompson, County Engineer, gives the weekly update about Public Works.
• Commissioner Hover thinks that if Commissioner Neal is willing to go to Washington DC to lobby for reauthorization of the Secure Rural Schools law (discussed in the April 22 meeting), the county should fund the trip.
• Commissioners hold an executive session under RCW 42.30.110(1)(g) to evaluate the qualifications of an applicant for public employment or to review the performance of a public employee, lasting 15 minutes and inviting Esther Milner, Chief Civil Deputy Prosecutor.
• Meeting adjourned at 10:37.
