Public restrooms

Post by barnabyadb » Tue Apr 22, 2025 12:04 pm

OK, unusual subject. But how many locals use the public restrooms at the four way stop in town? Likely not many, including us. However, you should. These must be the most beautiful public restrooms we have EVER seen. After my visit I took my wife to admire her side. She too was impressed which isn't always easy. Our town deserves a lot of credit for this facility. Let's hope no one abuses it.

My friend Pam works for the town and she takes pride in helping to keep this facility clean. If you see her around, say hi, she’d love it.

The restroom at the 4-way stop is hands down the nicest, cleanest public bathroom I've ever been in. The restroom at the baseball field is also great.

Major kudos to Pam who works tirelessly to make Winthrop clean and beautiful. Plus she's an ultra-cool person!

When customers at The Iron Horse ask about public restrooms, I say, "Across the street, right by the stop sign. Brand new, beautiful bathrooms! Stop, and go." Tourists are very impressed.

The facility is indeed quite well kept and should be a point of pride. Pam, and everyone else, should watch Wim Wender's film "Perfect Days" for a little laudatory comparison. Maybe it could be shown at the Barnyard Cinema for a Pam Appreciation Night. Seriously. Don't underestimate the effect a filthy bog can have on visitors.

I’ll second all of the bathroom comments. Pam takes great pride in her work, the sparkly clean, sweet scented bathrooms at the fourway are indeed an asset to our town. Plus Pam is an awesome person
