This is an excellent time to sharpen up your garden tools, get your appliances working again, and mend your summer clothing. The repair cafe is a FREE repair event where a team of expert fixers and menders volunteer to get your things working again.
Plus, one of our fixers is offering a new skill for you: grommet, snap, and rivet repair. Some examples of items that could be fixed include:
-Snowshoes
-Belts
-Knife sheaths
-Backpacks and other outdoor gear
-Tarps
We'll be at The Cove from 10am- noon. Repair Cafes are on the 3rd Saturday of the month.
Remember:
-Items must be small enough to be carried and leaking fluids or hazardous in any way
-You must stay with your items during its repair
-Please bring any parts you may have to complete the fix
-Our sewing team only mends items, no custom alterations please! There are local businesses that can help you out with that.
