Re: Methow River at 14.75 feet at 5:15 at Winthrop

got wiped out, the river was at 8,000 Cfs. That was a rarity.
Hoping for snow, like the forecast says for next week.

Re: Methow River at 14.75 feet at 5:15 at Winthrop

Just got back from viewing Little Bridge Cr. I think it's the wildest I've ever seen it. Chocolate milk, earth smells, and could hear rocks moving. Didn't tarry. New snow in the higher elevations but according to the weather forecase(right, a couple of hours) this rain event that happened seems main...

What's the norm? What is the CfS? If I am reading it correctly, 5,000 and the norm in the last 10 days was 838. 756% of normal?
Twisp River raging, muddy.

Re: Hanks Parking Lot Car Accident

One always has to be aware in that parking lot, I have found. Unbelievable for a small town parking lot. (Well, any parking lot is treacherous) Another scary area is the PO. While coming home yesterday, when it was snowing madly, I met vehicles going entirely too fast for conditions. And on a curve ...
