If it's grid-tied without some kind of battery storage, the system will shut down in any outage. Otherwise, it would be keeping your grid connection live and dangerous to anyone working to repair the lines. At least, that's the way my 12 year old system works. I think there may be some differences i...

Thanks, fr.creek. My setup is quite different, and my problem is an intermittent ground fault.

Oh, well, the array is back offline. So I still need someone to repair the system.

Have not heard back from Ben Sabold or anyone else, for that matter. So I'm still looking for someone.

Hey, Mel,

I don't know what you did but now it's working fine!

Or maybe my resetting the system late yesterday took until the sun was on it today to work. The ground resistance (RISO) is back up where it should be, if any of you readers know what that means.

When I left Twisp this morning around 10 am, the smell of smoke was strong. AQI was over 150 for most of the valley, at least up to Mazama.

Anyone know where today's smoke came from or seen any predictions for tomorrow?

I had my old Outback detailed two weeks ago by Wes at Auto Zen Detailing on Lincoln St in Twisp. He did a great job. Car hasn't looked this good since it was practically new. Old coffee and tea stains on the rear seats that I thought were hopeless are gone.

Just wanted others to know about Wes.

There's more to avoiding firewood scams than just not paying in advance: Delivery late in the evening when it's too dark to inspect the wood. Good looking pieces on the outside that are unloaded first. When you walk away satisfied, the bad stuff gets unloaded. Half your order gets delivered and you'...

My niece is taking the 3:13pm flight to Seattle. I could bring her anywhere in the valley to meet up.
