We had a very stubborn clog in the kitchen sink. A plunger didn't help. We then attacked it with a wet vacuum and whatever was in there came out, though we never knew what it was, That was in July, no further problems.

Full disclosure, as they say. These spent 6 months in smoke alarms and were replaced when scheduled. They have plenty ol life left for non crirtical easily changed uses. (read toys and games). Reply here.
