I’ve heard of some recent bear activity - in garbage cans - a couple miles south of Twisp on the Twisp Carlton rd….just north of the beaver ponds.

I am not part of the group that puts the sale on, but I’ve been asked to help get ready for the event, again this year, as I have in the past.

So, yes…about 99.9% sure it is on!

When there are multiple large fires, regionally, it doesnt matter much what the wind might be bringing us. It amounts to just ‘general haze’.

We have large fires on 3 sides of us. And many new fire starts in Southern BC and SW Alberta from yesterday’s lightning.

I only have t-mobile phone service - not WIFI - but Ive noticed the same.
And not just from home…(I’m just S of Twisp) ….but in multiple locations around the valley; service just occasionally drops for a while.
