It was skiers, not snowmobiles, who were involved.

The area is in the Teanaway….NE of Cle Elum.

I recall a second owner after Martins. A couple from out of the area….they were always grumpy the few times I was in there. I don’t think they owned it for more than a year or two.

As I recall It was built, after the mill burned, in the mid-80’s. Then, the Eastside County road ran north right along the river. That place was first a mini-mart built by a couple….who didnt last long…maybe just a year or 2. It was a weird place to go into, in my opinion, as they were sort of stran...

I saw a Facebook post with some aerial photos of HWY 20 near the Silver Star gate - and above. Looked like multiple mud and rock slides across the road…plus maybe some washouts.
